"A LOVERS MANIFESTO" THE NEW ALBUM BY PASTEL
From Friday, April 3, “A Lovers Manifesto”, the new album by Pastel, an emo-math band from Bari, available in stores and on all streaming platforms.
The record is released by Vina Records, distributed by Believe, and marks the band’s return to both recording and live performances after 9 years.
“At the risk of bordering on rhetoric—which doesn’t really belong to us—it is the feeling that permeates the absolute Love expressed in the creative and musical process, captured in every detail of the record.
A manifesto that allowed us to move through every phase, even the most critical ones, with renewed energy and momentum, leading to the result we now share with anyone who approaches the listening experience; and which stands as a wish that the album can convey the same emotion we felt while creating it.”
A LOVERS MANIFESTO, the new album by Pastel, released on Friday, April 3, and is entirely self-produced by the band, who have also chosen to distribute it across all streaming platforms—with the exception of Spotify—reflecting an ethical decision that reinforces the project’s identity and strong independence.
Physical copies of the record have been produced in collaboration with labels from around the world and are divided as follows:

PASTEL is a delightfully twisted emo-math band from Bari, formed by the founding duo
Vito and Andrea.
Over 12 years of activity, they have composed tracks scattered across various splits, shared the stage with numerous international and local bands, and recorded “L’Acchiappanuvole,” a concept album released in 2015.
Their style is an andante form of math, mostly instrumental, occasionally accompanied by deep and concise lyrics, ranging from dreamlike sounds to ornithological journeys.
After an exhaustive period of silence, they return in 2025 in a new four-member lineup, with the addition of Sabino and Francesco, performing live their upcoming album “A Lovers Manifesto,” set to be released in April 2026.
