A documentary film about the band UZEDA who brought a disruptive sound from Sicily to almost everywhere. The roots are Sicilian, volcanic and rugged, the heart is Anglophone and loud. A film to discover how one can live by putting music first, playing without compromises other than the one with themselves, and staying independent. The film follows the band Uzeda from 2016 to 2020, documenting tours, bits of private life, the
concert to celebrate their 30th year of activity (2018) and the recording of the album Quocumque Jeceris Stabit (2019). A story that starts in 1987 and comes to the present day: from the first local record label AVarts to the historical independent label Touch&Go Records, from the meeting with Steve Albini, recording engineer and reference of the
American alternative scene, to the two Peel Sessions at the BBC hosted by John Peel and the ATP festival.
